Carson aerogravity provides Geophysical survey, processing and interpretation of
data for oil and mining exploration by specially designed helicopters and boats
for aerogravity and aeromagnetic surveys. Sikorsky S-61 and DeHavilland Twin Otter
are two specially designed helicopters for aerogravity surveys. Output of all systems
employed in airborne surveying (gravity meter, magnetometer, positioning system,
altimeters) are recorded digitally and unfiltered on the aircraft for computer processing
using Carson's own processing and mapping software.
Carson builds, modifies, and maintains its own LaCoste & Romberg dynamic gravity
meters at its Gravity Meter Company in Austin, Texas; many patented innovations
are found on Carson's meters including the only 3-axis dynamic stabilization system
for airborne surveys; a complete gravity meter testing laboratory physically tests

ALCO Gas & Oil Production Equipment Ltd. was incorporated in 1972, as closely
held, privately owned Canadian corporation to supply production and processing equipment
to the Canadian and international Oil and Gas industry. During the past 34 years,
ALCO Gas & Oil has designed and fabricated over 6,000 production and process
packages.
ALCO specializes in packaged equipment, ranging from single skid units to interconnected
multiple skid modules for larger gas processing plants and petrochemical systems
The main products include:
LPG
Extraction Plants/Hydrocarbon Dew Point Control Units (5-65 MMSCFD)
These plants are used to remove Liquefied Petroleum Gas (L.P.G.) from the gas stream
and extract a C3+ or C5+ (e.g. 12# RVP) The C3+ product can be further fractionated
to produce C3+, C4+ and C5+ products.
AlCO Gas & Oil has fabricated more than 200 units worldwide The alternatives
for removing the L.P.G. vary from relatively simple Joule Thompson (J.T.) or choke
plants, through refrigeration plants to highly sophisticated packages (such as lean
oil absorption or turbo expander processes), recovering in excess of 90% of the
propane plus components. ALCO Gas & Oil can recommend an optimum design based
on capital cost, operating costs and the time value of money. All of these processes
would include dehydration of the gas stream (and in some instances the liquid hydrocarbon
streams).
Amine/Gas Sweetening Plants (5-65 MMSCFD)
Amine/Gas Sweetening Plants are used to remove acid gas (H2S and CO2) in the well
effluent prior to use. Alco can custom design a plant utilizing the amine that best
suits your process conditions. ALCO Gas & Oil has extensive experience with
MEA, DEA, DGA and MDEA (and MDEA based proprietary amines).
The plants can be custom designed and the alternatives for removing the acid gas
vary from relatively simple MEA and DEA plants to the more sophisticated, selective
solvents such as MDEA (and MDEA based propitiatory amines).
Gas Dehydration
Packages (TEG/MEG) upto 125 MMSCFD
ALCO Gas & Oil's custom designed glycol dehydration package offers a speedy
economical solution for removal of water vapour from your gas stream. Removal of
the water prevents hydrate formation, corrosion and maximizes pipeline efficiency.
There are well over 2000 glycol dehydration packages designed and fabricated by
ALCO Gas & Oil Production Equipment Ltd. in service at this time.
The plants can be custom designed to meet your specific needs with options to increase
efficiency, reduce space requirements, etc. The alternative methods of gas dehydration
include desiccant and calcium chloride packages.

Thermtech is a Norwegian company and the owner and supplier of the Thermomechanical
Cutting Cleaner (TCC) technology, a patented and advanced thermal desorption technology
able to treat various kinds of oily sludge. Thermtech uses TCC for treatment of
Oil drilling waste. TCC cleans the waste using evaporation to separate fluids from
the cutting, a thermal desorption technology different from conventional systems,
which transfer heat indirectly from large surfaces that are heated by steam, hot
oil or heat tracing.
In TCC, the waste is heated by transforming kinetic energy to heat by friction.
The highly efficient TCC evaporates water and oil in a fraction of exposure time
required in indirect dryers, minimizing thermal degradation of the base oil, thus
enabling this valuable product to be reused. Dry solid discharged from TCC has <200
ppm oil content, recovered oil has <1% water content and recovered water has
<100 ppm oil content. It is the Best Available Technique (BAT) for drill-cutting
treatment. TCC is a safe, compact, reliable, environment-friendly, easy to re-locate
and hassle-free thermal desorption technology.
As a consequence of the small footprint and the inherent safety, the TCC is probably
the only thermal technology that can be operated on board a drilling rig. Thus,
the base oil can be recovered for re-use at rig site. TCC’s capacity is dependent
upon the amount of water in the waste e.g. a “3 ton per hour” unit will
have that capacity with solids/water/oil ratio of 70/15/15 (by weight) and will
have a main motor/engine of approximately 700kW. If the water content is lower,
the capacity of the same unit will be higher than three tons per hour.
